Configure Revision Table

Configure how data is displayed as well as the type of content displayed in revision tables. You can also configure which Vault properties are mapped to the revision table.

Note:

Only the latest version of the latest revision can be checked out.

Mappings Tab

On the Mappings tab, you can map Vault Properties to the Revision Table columns.

Column Header

Enter the column name that displays in the Revision Table.

Vault Properties

The name of the Vault property is mapped to the associated revision table column. Select the property from the drop-down in each row.
The value corresponding to the property will automatically appear in the vault properties column of the revision table in the drawing.

Note:

The system property 'Revision' is a key mapping and must be mapped to at least one of the column headers.

Released vs. non-released bias control.
Select the check box for any row where you want the system to update values only in released states  for the assigned property. If the check box for a row is not selected, then the latest value for the property in the Vault is displayed in the drawing  regardless of whether the state was a released state.

Add a new property column in the Revision Table.

The main window shows folders defined in the active vault. Double-click a folder to show the files it contains, and then navigate to the file you want to open.

Move the selected items Up  or Down   in the Revision Table.

Edit the Title Header for the Revision Table inserted in the drawing.

Content Tab

On the Content tab, set the type of information that is displayed in the revision table.

Populate information using

Select Version and Revision state control.
Select the version and the released state information that you want to apply to display in the Revision table.

Limit number of rows check box

If you want to limit the number of rows displayed in the revision table, select the Limit number of rows check box. Specify the limit for the number of rows that you want to be displayed by selecting a value from the value spinner.

Note:

When the Limit number of rows option is turned ON, the exceeding records are deleted from the top in the revision table.

Filters Tab

On the Filters tab, filter the data to be displayed in the revision table by applying revision-level filters.

Display Revision at the following levels

Select the check box for each revision level that you want to be displayed in the revision table. For example, if you have drawings marked as revision A, A.2, and A.1.2, and you only select the Primary and Secondary check boxes, then only A and A.2 will display in the revision table.

Apply precedence rules to display only Lower/Higher revision levels

When multiple revision levels exist within a revision group, it is necessary to identify which level of revision you want to be displayed. Enable this check box and select whether you want the highest or lowest revision levels displayed in the revision table.
This selection takes precedence over the settings Display revision at following levels (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary).

Omit the initial revision row

Select this check box to omit the initial revision row from the revision table.
Some users find that if the initial revision value (e.g., A) is already in the title block for the revision table, having it repeated as the first revision row is unnecessary. By selecting this check box, the first revision row in the revision table becomes the next revision value (e.g., A.1).
