Update Drawing

MDTools^® automatically updates the drawing if the reference manifold of that drawing is modified.

1.      MDTools 970  >  Update Drawing

The validation message for Update Drawing displays..

The MDTools prompt message displays to check if you want to update the drawing.

2.       Click Yes to update.

MDTools automatically updates the drawing document.

Note

·         The update command is enabled only if there is some modification in the part model.
(For example, change face of cavities, insert/delete cavities, suppress-unsuppressed cavities, change in component ID/ machining ID).

·         MDTools automatically updates the drawing annotations (MDTools) in drawing document.

·         Updating MDTools drawing annotations, MDTools uses the same drawing settings as settings being used at the time of creating MDTools drawing annotations (For example, Machining chart, Balloon, cavity List etc.).

Update Existing Drawing

1.    Open an existing drawing, where the reference manifold is modified.

The MDTools prompt message displays to check if you want to update the drawing.

2.     Click Yes to update.

MDTools automatically updates the drawing document.
