Same Component (CAD Model) for Multiple Cavities

When multiple cavities use the same component, you can select the component for all the cavities together.

1.     Select the cavities from the list, one by one.

  Note: Hold the Ctrl key to enable multiple cavity selection.

2.     Click the Select CAD Model button.

3.     Select a component from the Selected CAD Models list.

MDTools^® automatically places the selected component in the assembly drawing.

Note:

·       Set assembly constraints on all the part models using the MDTools Set Assembly Constraints program to make it work with the Assembly Interface.

·       Parts without the assembly constraints will not get assembled on the manifold.

·       For two Port Orifice Plug Model assembled at the thread step index of cavity, if thread step information does not exist in the cavity then MDTools displays a warning message.
