Release and Borrow License

Release MDTools 965 current license and borrow a license

Note: For Borrowing license, first need to release the current license to borrow the license till selected date.

From the MDTools 965 Part Model, Drawing, or Assembly ribbon/dropdown menu.

1       Start  >  MDTools 965  >  License Manager

The License Manager dialog box displays.
License Type displays  the current selection.

2       Click on the Expand before License Type to view/modify current license details.

3       Click Release to release the current license type.

The Release button option changes to Get License and the Borrow option becomes active.

4       Enter Borrow Until date.

5       Click the Borrow button to borrow the license.

A license is borrowed and the button changes to Return.

6       Click the Return button to return the license.

7       Click the Get License button to use license again.

Network, Local License

From the MDTools 965 Part Model, Drawing, or Assembly ribbon/dropdown menu.

8       Start  >  MDTools 965  >  License Manager

The License Manager dialog box displays.
License Type displays  the current selection.

9       Click on the Expand option before License Type to view/modify current license details.

10   Click Release to release the current license type.

The Release button option changes to Get License and the Borrow option becomes active.

11   Enter Borrow Until date.

12   Click the Borrow button to borrow the license.

A license is borrowed and the button changes to Return.

13   Click the Return button to return the license.

14   Click the Get License button to use license again.
