MDTools® automatically updates the drawing if the reference manifold of that drawing is modified.
1. MDTools 785 ribbon > Update panel > Drawing
MDTools message prompt to update the drawing.
2. Click Yes to update.
MDTools automatically updates the drawing document.
Note
· The update command is enabled only if there is some modification in the part model.
(For example, change face of cavities, insert/delete cavities, suppress-unsuppressed
cavities, change in component ID/ machining ID).
· MDTools automatically updates the drawing annotations (MDTools) in a drawing document.
· Updating MDTools drawing annotations, MDTools uses the same drawing settings as settings being used at the time of creating MDTools drawing annotations (For example, Machining chart, Balloon, cavity List etc.).
· MDTools Drawing updates automatically only if the Automatic Update on the Open option in MDTools Settings > Miscellaneous tab is selected.
· If the drawing is created using an earlier version of MDTools, it does not support automatic drawing update. In that case, update the drawing manually or delete and recreate annotations and tables using the current version of MDTools.
