1. MDTools 775 ribbon menu > Block panel > Create (Block)
The Create Block dialog box displays.

2. Select the material from the Material drop-down list.
The default material is Aluminum. Change the material, if required.
3. Select a cross section from the Cross Section list of the selected material.
4. Select the required option from the Use as list.
You can use the cross section in any possible combination of length, width, and height.
5. Enter the third dimension for the block.
For example, if cross section used for block is width and height, then enter the block length.
6. Click OK after the required data is entered.
MDTools® automatically creates the block inside Inventor.
