VEST, Inc. was founded in 1997 in Troy, Michigan, USA. We are a niche, leading worldwide commercial provider of innovative design-automation and sales-automation Desktop Solutions to the Fluid Power industry. Our products help engineers and hydraulic corporations do their jobs faster with end-to-end automation needed to execute 2D schematic and 3D manifold designs. VEST has developed a portfolio of software solutions to improve the schematic design, 3D geometric configuration design, and the accurate Manufacturing of hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies. VEST has more recently extended these capabilities as cloud-based services for OEMs, retail salespeople, field service technicians, and engineers.

VEST seeks motivated and enterprising professionals willing to leverage their experience with hydraulic system design and 2D/3D software platforms while interacting with prospects and customers to achieve new sales or assist with application-specific product support. The role expects the candidates to promote VEST’s portfolio of retail desktop and cloud-based software products and services. A minimum of three (3) years of active design using VEST HyDraw CAD^® or MDTools^®, or standard CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or Solidworks is required.

• Lead sales and support staff converting opportunities to orders for existing and new, emerging markets/accounts within the Americas (West, Central, or Eastern Regions).
• Conduct customer product demonstrations showcasing software product application and domain knowledge.
• Assist the sales team on opportunity tracking for key prospect/customer accounts.
• Advocate software product design enhancements/corrections that improve sales and/or preserve existing revenue streams.
• Provide industry subject matter expertise to product development team during design/validation process.
• Provide technical support and product training for VEST software products and solutions as required.
• Host webinars where practical product application, integration, and/or productivity expertise is delivered to both prospects and customers.
• Prepare and publish reports for ongoing sales pursuits maintained within CRM systems.

• Extensive experience with hydraulic circuit and manifold design.
• 3–10 years of hydraulics application engineering experience utilizing industry standard CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or Solidworks) or VEST Products (e.g., MDTools; HyDraw CAD).
• Experience with CAD-based pneumatic, electrical, or P&ID design will be considered as a plus.
• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel by car or air when required.
